Embedded Payments

For ev charging operators: Put checkout for rental trips, parking sessions, charging and fuel inside your software, keeping payment events connected to customer and operating records. If you run your own charging app, embed payments directly in it. Embedded payments let software companies offer card and ACH acceptance inside their product and share in the revenue.

Merchant Account

For ev charging operators: Arrange a processing account for rental trips, parking sessions, charging and fuel, with checkout methods matched to how customers pay. Typical tickets for EV charging operators run $5 to $60 per session, and a merchant account's limits and pricing can be set for that range. A dedicated merchant account gives you custom pricing and processing limits set during underwriting. Roots uses it when Square isn't the right fit.
