This website is operated by Tampa Roots LLC under the Roots Payments brand. These terms describe use of the website and do not replace signed Roots service agreements or provider account agreements. The website is intended for business users.Roots and provider responsibilities
Roots assesses requirements, initiates provider introductions and coordinates setup, training and support. Providers handle underwriting, processing, approval, settlement, reserves, funds movement and their compliance obligations. Roots is not a bank or money transmitter. Roots does not hold or transmit digital assets.Square accounts and hardware purchases are contracted with Square directly. Roots is an independent Square Reseller and supplies separate setup, configuration, custom development and support services.Quotes and service scope
Consultations and payment reviews are free. Where a Roots price is not published, request a quote. A booking or inquiry does not create a paid-service contract, processing account or guarantee of approval. Paid work begins under separately agreed scope and pricing.Roots POS includes setup, training and support; hardware recommendations are tailored to the business. Square controls its own plans, processing rates and account terms. Published rates and product details can change, and additional charges may apply. Card-brand interchange tables show a component of processing costs rather than your complete merchant rate.The general Roots cash-discount program is separate from the Square signup option. It is designed to eliminate eligible processing costs, with actual savings and any remaining fees determined by the program agreement and payment mix. Cash discount and surcharging are different programs; implementation must follow applicable requirements.Bookings and inquiry controls
Calendly handles scheduling and confirmations. Completing on-page inquiry controls directs you to booking or email contact options; it does not send an inquiry to Roots. Booking availability and provider acceptance are not guaranteed. Supply accurate information and avoid including account credentials or sensitive financial documents in booking notes.Acceptable use and content
Do not use the website for unlawful activity, interfere with its operation, impersonate another person or attempt unauthorized access.Roots branding and website content are owned by Tampa Roots LLC or their respective owners. Third-party product names used for comparisons do not imply endorsement or affiliation.Availability and separate agreements
The website may be unavailable or change over time. No payment-processing uptime, settlement schedule, reserve arrangement or account guarantee is established by these website terms. Provider agreements govern those services, and separately signed Roots agreements govern paid Roots work. These website terms do not impose arbitration, a class-action waiver or a monthly-fee liability cap.Privacy and communications
The Privacy Policy at /privacy-policy explains current website information handling. Bookings and contact requests do not constitute enrollment in a Roots marketing SMS program. Any future SMS program will have separate consent and terms.
